Traditional HRMS platforms store data and route approvals, but the actual work — screening candidates, processing payroll inputs, chasing approvals, syncing project status — still depends on people manually operating the software. The challenge was architecting a system where multiple specialized AI agents could operate independently across distinct business functions (HR, finance, recruitment, project management), understand natural-language intent, and execute multi-step actions reliably, without becoming a single brittle chatbot layered on top of legacy workflows.
Nonceblox built Tara as a cross-agent architecture rather than one general-purpose assistant. Each function runs its own purpose-built agent — an HR agent for onboarding, leave, and employee support; a finance agent for payroll, tax, and expense workflows; a recruitment agent that screens and ranks candidates against role requirements and manages candidate communication end-to-end; and a project management agent that tracks tasks, deadlines, and team syncs. A natural-language interface layer interprets intent and routes requests to the correct agent, which then executes the underlying workflow autonomously — approvals, scheduling, document handling, and status updates included.
Tara is live and operating in production as a multi-tenant SaaS platform, supporting role-based AI agents across HR, finance, recruitment, and project operations for startups, SMEs, and growing enterprise teams. The recruitment agent independently screens and ranks candidates and manages end-to-end hiring communication, and the system is deployable within hours rather than the weeks typical of traditional HRMS onboarding.
